These terms are an agreement between you and Oliver Atienza (the developer of Proref) — not with Apple. By downloading or using Proref, you agree to them. They're written to be short and readable, because Proref is a simple app.
You get a personal, non-transferable license to install and use Proref on Apple devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the app, and you may not reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly allows it despite this term.
Proref Pro is a one-time purchase — not a subscription. It is a non-consumable App Store purchase processed entirely by Apple, and:
Everything you create in Proref — boards, images, drawings — is yours. It is stored only on your device; Proref has no server and keeps no copy. That also means you are responsible for backups: if the app is deleted or the device is lost, the developer has no way to recover your boards.
Proref is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of defects or interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Proref — including loss of data or artwork. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Because Proref is distributed through the App Store:
If these terms change in a way that matters, the updated version will be posted at this address before it takes effect, and the date above will change. Continuing to use Proref after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
